Sitra Treasurer

Join Sitra’s Board of Trustees

Sitra is a registered charity and a national membership body for housing, care and support.  We have over 25 years’ experience of providing a range of services to our members and customers across the country including policy, advice, information, training and consultancy services.  

Sitra is seeking a qualified accountant to join our Board as Treasurer as we develop and implement a new business plan for our dynamic and forward-looking social business.  

The Treasurer’s key duties include:

  • Chairing the Finance sub-committee
  • Advising the Sitra Board on the financial risk in business plans and strategic decisions
  • Appraising and recommending the budget and management accounts to the Board
  • Reviewing and recommending financial policies and controls to the Board
  • Signing the audited financial statements on behalf of the Board
  • Presenting audited financial statement to the AGM.
