Sue Baxter Personsalisation Project Officer

Sue Baxter, Project Officer
An experienced practitioner; having worked in the supported housing sector for nearly 30 years, Sue is currently the lead on personalisation and sits on the DCLG facilitated working group which supports personalisation in the housing related support sector.  She has worked as an area manager for a variety of large RPs and managed a number of voluntary organisations. Sue’s specialist work on support, housing and law resulted in her co-authoring the Sitra Legal Action Group’s publication Supported Housing and the Law.  Sue also contributed to the CIH Supported Housing chapter in their Housing Management manual and worked on a number of health funded initiatives.
In 2008-9 Sue worked on a DCSF (now DfE) funded project on improving housing outcomes for young people in and from care for NCAS (Part of national charity Catch 22).  In 2009-10 she delivered Sitra’s CLG funded local strategic engagement project ensuring that housing related support retains its profile locally.

Bercu Borysik Personalisation Project Assistant

Burcu Borysik, Reseach Coordinator
Burcu is a social scientist, with active research interests in service user involvement in health and social policy.  Formerly in University of Nottingham her work focused on mental health policy in the UK. She has also worked in various volunteer coordinator role in the third sector. She has been working at Sitra since January 2013, where she carried out various research projects commissioned by the central government and local authorities, looking into welfare reform,  service user outcomes and personalisation.
