Health and Wellbeing
The Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) supported local areas in their development of local Health and Wellbeing Boards both prior to and during the implementation of their statutory responsibilities.
By working alongside local authorities and newly formed Clinical Commissioning Groups, HSCP provided facilitation, networking and information sharing opportunities. HSCP worked closely with NHS South of England and the Department of Health's national transition team to provide key support and the latest information during the important development phase prior to Royal Assent of the Health and Social Care Bill and continuing on into the early days of the statutory role. .
Health and Wellbeing Boards are now seen as a crucial cockpit for engaging local strategic decision makers in a joined up policy for local health and social care resources and for delivering improved outcomes and a critical player in the success integration of health and social care services.
