Making a difference: Demonstrating outcomes

Support services have been developing and making use of a range of tools to support their work with clients and to measure the impact that services can make both on the lives of individuals and the wellbeing and cohesion of communities. Now we face significantly reduced budgets as well as the continuing need to improve joint working across disciplines and sectors

This event took place on 19 January 2011 in London and provided an opportunity to keep up with the latest developments on:

  • Using an outcomes focus to support person-centred services in health, housing and care services
  • How services can evaluate and evidence their achievements for communities
  • Linking frameworks across sectors to contribute to better services and efficiencies in administration
  • Using Social Return On Investment (SROI) techniques to identify public benefits
  • Streamlining commissioning with an outcomes focus
  • The implications of payment by results on use of outcomes frameworks.
