Project Manager – Julian Housing (starting salary £34,546)

The Team

  • A team of experienced and skilled supported housing workers, some with specialist roles. 
  • A dedicated maintenance team, led by a property supervisor
  • A small admin/finance team

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and developing all Julian Housing’s work and is also part of Oxford Homeless Pathway’s Senior Management Team which is responsible for the strategic development of the whole organisation.  (See attached structure chart.)

The Challenge

In common with many areas of the UK, Oxfordshire is experiencing massive cuts to local authority spending.  Oxford Homeless Pathways is rising to this challenge by developing stronger fundraising and finding ways of maintaining quality by working differently.  Julian Housing is well placed to respond quickly to new opportunities as has been demonstrated over recent years, and the intention is to continue developing and expanding, particularly into other parts of Oxfordshire.  Plans for 2015 include the development of Peer Landlord accommodation, increased peer mentoring and adding to the Housing First portfolio, as well as engaging with the County Council’s commissioning process for core contracts.
