Full Time Female Support Worker-Temporary (6 months)

The Marylebone Project are currently recruiting for a temporary Support Worker who is dynamic and capable with a passion to help vulnerable women.

Temporary (6 months) Full Time Female Support Worker, The Marylebone Project, Westminster, £26,099 pro rata.*

The Marylebone Project provides accommodation and 24-hour support to women who have experienced homelessness. Their Support Workers assess service user needs and write support plans to help them manage and or overcome these needs. The services users have all been homeless but may also present with a number of other needs such as substance misuse, history of abuse, mental health issues and minimal living skills.
They work closely with service users supporting and encouraging them in a journey that may take up to two years to be able to sustain their own tenancy once again, or for the first time.

If you enjoy working with people, are well organised and motivated by doing a job that will make a difference, this could be the right job for you.

You must have experience of working with and supporting vulnerable people, people with multiple needs, including challenging behaviour, and ideally have experience of working with homeless women.

The Marylebone Project (in partnership with Church Army and the Portman House Trust, a registered Social Landlord), is a well-established, unique and exciting project providing a wide range of specialised services for homeless women in Central London.
