Support Benchmarking

This is the only national benchmarking service for support providers. It is run by Sitra, in partnership with HouseMark and the National Housing Federation and has been developed through extensive consultation with service providers.

Benchmarking can help providers review their own service and develop their analysis of their place in the market for support services. Our benchmarking tool enables you to look at quality and user satisfaction as well as financial questions and performance.

Participants were sent their service specific Benchmarking reports in Dcember 2008. Guidance on interpreting the report results can be found here.  If, after reading the guidance you still have any queries on your report, please email sitrahelpline@sitra.org

The guidance includes instructions on how to set up a benchmarking club. This enables any group of organisations who have given their written agreement to disclosure of their identity to exchange further information. The form to be used for this can be found here.
