FREE Skills for Care Events: Workforce issues for those working on housing with care and support
I am writing to invite you to become involved in Skills for Care’s work programme addressing the workforce issues for those working on housing with care and support. This includes work with Sheltered Housing and Extra Care employers.
The focus on the critical role of housing within the Care Act, and the on-going emphasis on integration and personalised services mean that we have worked to develop and extend our offer to ensure it is appropriate and relevant to those providing housing with care and support services. You may be interested to see some of the work we have already undertaken in this area; Bringing Care Home and our work around New and Emerging Job Roles.
To this end, we are holding a series of workshops through the Autumn months, aimed at employers in Housing with Care and Support services. These will be free and offer a chance to explore what Skills for Care have to support your workforce as well as network with other local employers. These are;
