Personalisation of Services
Sitra holds a key role in helping the sector understand the impact of personalisation on support providers, commissioners and service user groups. Our endorsement of the ‘Think Local, Act Personal’ concordat, our work on ‘Right to Control’ and our involvement with the DCLG facilitated Personalisation Working Group have equipped us to provide you with the support you need to embed personalisation in the way you work.
This expertise and up to the minute thinking can be effectively applied to consultancy projects.
In East Sussex we were commissioned by the Supporting People Commissioner to work with providers and service users across the county to explore the range of ways that services could become more personalised and to develop service models that extend choice and control. This included workshops, events for service users, in-house briefings, bursaries to showcase innovation and develop good practice and a customer journey toolkit for use by providers and clients
East Sussex is delighted to be working with Sitra on important work to promote personalisation in housing support services. We have been encouraged by the way Service users, existing providers and those new to the world of housing support have taken board the opportunities to engage with Sitra and develop their understanding of personalisation.
