Look Ahead's skills and work programme

Look Ahead's skills and work programme is designed to offer a range of opportunities for our customers. For example they can apply for a voluntary work placement working in a defined role either in head office or at one of our hostels or supported housing projects. Our Resource Centre Work Placement Volunteer is receiving training and supervision to help in his role of setting up a resource centre at one of our projects. This scheme is only open to our customers but more information can be found at www.lookahead.org.uk/customers

Our Apprenticeship Programme is another opportunity to start a career in social care. Apprentices get paid while building key experience and skills. The programme combines hands-on learning with formal, college-based NVQ training. The programme is open to anyone over 18, more information can be found at apprenticeship.lookahead.org.uk
