This course will develop participants' understanding of equality and diversity issues and equip them with an understanding of legislation and good practice, including the new Equality Act 2010. The course will also assist all participants to reflect upon their own organisation and operations. Topics will include:
- The statutory and regulatory framework, including the Equality Act
- Good practice in service delivery
- Equality actions in the new QAF
- Promoting equality for all.
This course relates to the new QAF standards.
