West Midlands Supported Housing Network

A united voice for support and care providers in the West Midlands

Support and care providers in the West Midlands will soon benefit from a stronger and more united voice, with the launch of the West Midlands Supported Housing Network. The Network brings together the following four forums:

  • West Midlands Supporting People Chairs network
  • West Midlands Voluntary and Community Sector Housing Network
  • West Midlands NHF Care and Support group
  • West Midlands Foyer Federation network.

As well as providing a strong voice for the sector, the new Network will be able to support providers and make life easier for those who previously attended multiple meetings. Issues to be looked at include new models of support (eg floating support and independence models), procurement and commissioning, and personalisation.

The Network is supported by Sitra as well as the National Housing Federation and Homeless Link, which will help promote it and take its messages to commissioners in the region and to central government.
