Sitra has been providing leadership in the housing, care and support sector for over 25 years.

As the new Coalition Government begins to further develop its policy framework to take us forward for the next five years, Sitra will be working closely with central government and national bodies to ensure that the views and perspectives of the sector, and the vulnerable people that it supports are represented and understood.

While some of the new trends are still emerging, there are some clear agendas being formed which Sitra is effectively engaged with. Quality and commissioning will be paramount as budgets tighten. Sitra retains guardianship of the QAF and has a lead role in its ongoing development. Personalisation will remain a strong steer for the future, and Sitra is playing a key part in supporting the important Right to Control trailblazers. It is also apparent that the ability to engage effectively at a local level will be vital with a central government committed to decentralisation, and Sitra?s work around local strategic engagement will provide you with a good steer.
