Navigating the maze

Sitra launched "Navigating the Maze: A guide on engaging with and influencing local governance and commissioning structures" at our conference on Localism that took place in London on 13 July.

This guide is primarily for providers to support them in understanding local decision making structures and navigate where best to engage with these structures. Such engagement should then enable effective influencing of decision making on the commissioning and governance of housing related support services.

The Emergency Budget 2010

Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, delivered the Coalition Government’s first Budget on Tuesday 22 June. The Budget set out a five year plan to rebuild the British economy.

Regional roundtable events 2010 on the future delivery of housing support

Sitra were commissioned by the CLG to run a series of Regional roundtable events in early 2010. The sessions were designed to have a dual purpose, both for information sharing and also for gaining information on national trends which would then be used to inform further support through the transition package. Between 23 February and 30 March a total of 13 events took place, bringing together just under 400 people. The representation at the events was a mix of providers and commissioners and all events followed the same format.
